Organize a workshop

 

Proposals for workshops can be continuously submitted to CompCog for the entire period of the programme up to June 2013.

 

The decision is made yearly on the Steering Committee meetings in accordance with the ESF Guidelines for Assessment of Applications for Funding. The next Steering Committee meeting will take place in May 2011.

 

Priority will be given to meetings taking place in countries that financially support CompCog and the applicants should be established scientists/researchers based in these countries.

 

Before preparing an application please carefully read the ESF Guidelines for Science Meeting Organisers and the Guidelines for CompCog Scientific Meeting Organisers to select participants.

The application should contain the following parts:

  1. Scientific Summary, explaining also how the workshop contributes to the CompCog objectives and clearly stating whether a regular workshop or a discussion meeting is planned (max. 1000 words)
  2. Abstract (max. 50-70 words)
  3. Proposed location and date, as well as a wider time period suitable for the organizers
  4. Workshop Programme
  5. Curriculum Vitae of Scientific Organiser including list of five most relevant publications during the last five years
  6. Provisional list of proposed speakers/participants

 

After the Steering Committee decides about your application the Programme Coordinator will inform you in email.
