Organize a lab visit

CompCog offers Short Visit Grants to the students participating in lab visits, but no contribution is dedicated for the lab hosting the visit!

Proposals to organize a lab visit can be continuously submitted to CompCog for the entire period of the programme up to June 2013.

The decision is made yearly on the Steering Committee meetings in accordance with the ESF Guidelines for Assessment of Applications for Funding. The next Steering Committee meeting will take place in May 2011.

The application should contain the following parts:

1. Data of institution(s) hosting the lab visit (precise name, address, home page)
2. Scientific Summary (max. 1000 words): description of hosting institution(s) (what can they offer to the students: facilities to show, personnel to talk to, scientific events to visit, education provided, etc.), indication what kind of students you would like to host or even list of proposed students you would like to invite, the foreseen outcome of the lab visit.
3. Proposed date as well as a wider time period suitable for the organiser(s)
4. Proposed programme
5. Curriculum Vitae of the organiser(s) including list of five most relevant publications during the last five years
6. A photograph characteristic for the hosting institution(s) (picture of the building, laboratory, etc.

After the Steering Committee decides about your application the Programme Coordinator will inform you in email.
