Apply for an Exchange Grant Applications for Exchange Visit Grants can be continuously submitted to CompCog for the entire period of the programme up to June 2013.
The decision is normally made yearly on the Steering Committee meetings in accordance with the ESF Guidelines for Assessment of Applications for Funding. The next Steering Committee meeting will take place in May 2011.
Priority will be given to students based on their countries of origin and the country of the hosting institution in accordance with the Guidelines to evaluate CompCog Exchange Visit Grant applications.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
In order to conduct research in another lab for 2 months students have to apply for an Exchange Visit Grant. Before preparing an application please carefully read the ESF Guidelines for Short and Exchange Visit Travel Grants. Do not forget that the parts referring to Exchange Visit Grant applications are relevant for visiting researchers! After the Steering Committee decides about your application the Programme Coordinator will inform you in email.
INFORMATION FOR VISITING RESEARCHERS:
Exchange Visit Grants provide 1600€ per month and cover the students’ actual travel expenses up to a maximum of 500€.
Successful applicants will receive an advance payment (normally 80% of the allocated grant). The final payment will dependent on the submission of the scientific report, signed host statement form, and completed balance payment form accompanied by the original travel tickets.
